About HazMit

An Indiana hazardous cleanup and environmental response company.

HazMit exists to give property owners, facility managers, and contractors a straightforward, capable partner for hazardous conditions — the kind of work most teams don't want to figure out on their own.

What we do

Focused on the work most crews shouldn't touch

We handle avian waste cleanup and prevention, sharps collection and disposal coordination, asbestos abatement and inspections, lead abatement and inspections, mold abatement and inspections, and hazardous cleanouts. Specialty situations are reviewed and quoted on a case-by-case basis so we don't overpromise before we understand the site.

We serve Indianapolis, Central Indiana, and Southern Indiana. Our clients include commercial and industrial property owners, property management companies, contractors, institutional facilities, and — where it fits our scope — residential clients. If we're not the right fit for a project, we'll say so.

Our mission

Safe, dependable hazardous cleanup — done right the first time

Safe handling

Containment, PPE, and disposal choices are planned around the actual site conditions.

Direct communication

Plain-English scope and pricing. No guesswork, no runaround.

Documented work

Records that support future inspections, transactions, and internal reporting.

How we work

Professional, discreet, and compliance-minded

Site assessment first

We start with a screening conversation and, when appropriate, an on-site assessment. That's how we build accurate scope, choose the right containment approach, and plan disposal correctly.

Discreet on-site presence

For tenanted buildings, multi-family properties, and active facilities, we plan around the operation — signage, timing, and communication that keeps disruption low.

Credentials

Licensing, insurance, and affiliations

HazMit maintains the credentials and coverage appropriate for the work we take on. Specific licensing, insurance details, and regulatory affiliations are shared with clients during scoping for qualifying projects.

Detailed credentials, certifications, and project photography will be published here as they are finalized for public listing.
